A Home Built on Love
Faith Maternity Care was founded in 2002 when our founder recognized that far too many women facing unplanned pregnancies had no one in their corner and nowhere to turn. What began as a response to a clear and urgent need has grown into a full-service maternity home and community program serving women across Missouri.
In 2008, we moved into a larger permanent home to better serve the women who come to us. Today, Faith Maternity Care operates as a licensed maternity home and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, supported by individual donors, churches, community organizations, and grants through the State of Missouri.
What We Believe
Our mission is simple: to be a place where women are able to choose life. We believe every woman who walks through our doors deserves safety, dignity, and a genuine path toward stability. Our vision is to equip mothers with the life skills they need to become self-sufficient, whether they choose to parent or make an adoption plan.
Faith is central to who we are, but it is never forced. Women are free to explore their own faith journey. We offer spiritual support as one dimension of a much larger whole, and we welcome women of all backgrounds.
A Real Home, Not an Institution
Faith Maternity Care is not a shelter or a program building. It is a home, and it feels like one.
Residents cook together, build friendships, and form bonds that often last long after they leave. Many of the women who come to us arrive in crisis and leave with a community they did not expect to find.
Our team is small, consistent, and deeply committed. Low staff turnover means the women we serve build strong relationships with the people supporting them.
Serving Women Across Missouri
Our residential program is located in Fulton, Missouri, a welcoming community with more resources than people often expect. Fulton sits within a reasonable distance of Columbia, Jefferson City, St. Louis, and Kansas City, making it both accessible and well-connected.
We also serve non-residential clients throughout Missouri. You do not have to live with us to benefit from our services.
