All of Faith Maternity Care’s services are offered at no cost to women who qualify. There are no fees for housing, classes, counseling, case management, or any of the other services we provide.
No. Faith Maternity Care has a non-residential program that serves women all across the state of Missouri. If you have a safe place to live but could use support with parenting education, case management, rent assistance, or other services, you may qualify as a community client. Contact us to find out more.
You may stay free of charge for the duration of your pregnancy. If you choose to parent your baby and continue to meet eligibility requirements, you can remain in the program through your child’s first birthday.
This extended timeline is one of the things that makes our program different from many other maternity homes.
Yes. Residents may bring up to 2 children under 10. If you have older children currently in the state’s custody, our team will work with your caseworker and advocate for your family throughout the reunification process.
Fathers are not permitted to reside in the home. However, fathers who participate in our parenting classes and pass a background check are welcome to visit.
Call us. Eligibility questions are best answered in a conversation with our Program Director. We would rather talk through your situation together and find out, rather than have you assume the answer is no.
If our home is full or you do not meet our eligibility requirements, we will still help you. Everyone who reaches out will be provided with some form of support or direction. We will connect you with other resources and organizations that may be able to help.
Yes. Faith Maternity Care is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will always have support available.
Your first 30 days are focused on helping you get settled, get familiar with Fulton, and get connected to appointments and resources. A member of our team will accompany you during this time to make sure you have support as you acclimate.
After that initial period, you will have more independence as you build your routine and your confidence.
We ask that residents agree to a mental health evaluation within the first 30 days of moving in. If you are currently taking medication for a mental health condition, you will need to be compliant with that treatment plan.
We work with you to make sure you have the support you need throughout your time with us.
The first step is a phone or in-person interview with our Program Director. To schedule that conversation, contact our Program Director at 573-310-6014. Our team is also available after business hours. You can also reach out by completing the Contact Us form below.
